Lake Charles man arrested in animal cruelty case

Lee Peck with the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we are working on today.

A Lake Charles man is wanted in a shooting.  According to police it happened Friday at the intersection of N. Shattuck Street and St. Mary Street. They are now looking for 29-year-old Brandon Franklin.

Plus, a case that is sure to outrage pet lovers. A Lake Charles man is in jail accused of killing his girlfriend's small poodle. Tonight we hear from the girlfriend about what happened.
