LAKE ARTHUR, LA (KPLC) -
Officials on Monday said water is still rising over the levees in Lake Arthur and levees are now breached in additional parts of the city.
Jeff Davis Sheriff Ivy Woods and Lake Arthur Mayor Robbie Bertrand are urging people with water in their homes or with homes currently being threatened by floodwaters to evacuate now.
Hwy. 90 east of Jennings remains closed.
Hwy. 26 between Jennings and Lake Arthur has water crossing the highway at Broadmore Canal.
