Area residents brace for potential flooding conditions

Good Wednesday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here with a look at some of our top stories this morning:

*The threat of flooding has a lot of people getting ready in case of the worst case scenario - dumping several inches of rain over the next 36 hours.  Find out where you can get sandbags, plus Meteorologist Ben Terry will update us on this storm system.

*A vote is coming up for Lake Charles voters that deals with lakefront development.  It has to do with a tax incremental financing district, also known as a "tiff." We will tell you why council members say it will attract new projects.

*The White House is considering a proposal to pull all U.S. troops out of Afghanistan by next year.  Hear what the so-called "zero option" is and where the talks of this plan go from here.
