Visitation for beating death victim set for today

Happy Monday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here with a look at some of the stories you can expect to see on today's Sunrise:

*Later today, visitation will begin for Matthew Crochet, the Moss Bluff man allegedly beaten to death at a New Year's Eve party.  Three men face manslaughter charges in that death.  We will have details on the final arrangements today.

*The trial for a man accused of killing his grandmother in February 2009 in Topsy is set to go to trial today.  Hear what is in store for Carl Webb's case as it moves forward.

*Work will continue this morning to repair damage caused by a fire at Entergy's downtown Lake Charles substation. 

*It's Mardi Gras season!  We have a look back at 12th Night and find out what's scheduled leading up to Fat Tuesday.

*Meteorologist Ben Terry is tracking a very active weather pattern this week.  He'll break it down for you.

    A single-vessel boating accident on the Sabine River near Niblett's Bluff Park Sunday evening has resulted in two children being seriously injured, according to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. The injured children have been taken to the hospital, and one child is in critical condition, said Lt. Beau Robertson, LDWF spokesman.
