An East Texas man is jailed after police said he beat a 2-month-old infant and three other family members on Christmas.
22-year-old Quinton Jackson was arrested Wednesday by Longview Police at his home in the 300-block of Gates street. Police say Jackson assaulted the child on Christmas day, then fled the home before officers arrived, but returned later that night, and again fled. Police arrested Jackson when he returned to the home a third time.
The 2-month old was taken to Good Shepherd Medical Center. The extent of the child's injuries are unknown.
Jackson was charged with injury to a child and is in the Gregg County Jail on a $10-thousand dollars bond.
