Arrest made in Tyler aggravated robbery

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Released by the Tyler Police Department:

On December 28, 2012 at approximately 9:15pm officers responded to a Robbery of an Individual at America's Best Value Inn 2828 W NW Loop 323, Tyler, Smith County, Texas. Upon officers arrival, contact was made with the victim, who described the suspect as a white female, later identified as Jessica Ann Walker, 25 years old, from Tyler. Officers immediately began searching the area, eventually locating the suspect on the South West corner of the complex. After a brief foot pursuit the suspect was taken into custody. A 25 caliber pistol was found on her person along with an undetermined amount of cash that was recovered. The suspect was transported to the Smith County Jail and booked in for Aggravated Robbery.
