Two of the three suspects held in the murder of Ronnie Gammage were arraigned today in Upshur County District Court.

19-year-old Daniel Paul Jones is being held on a capital murder charge on a one million dollar bond. Sarah Haslam, 20, is also being held on a capital murder charge and a one million dollar bond.

According to District Attorney Billy Byrd, the death penalty "is on the table for all three defendants."

"We're very confident and we know that the investigation shows us that the murder did happen in Upshur County, and in the process of that there was a kidnapping that occurred prior to his murder. That's what makes it capital murder in this county," Bird said.

The third suspect, Andrew Norwine, 21, will be transferred to Upshur County in the next two weeks. He is being held at the Vernon Parish Jail in Leesville, LA.

"The D.A. and the detectives have been wonderful. Thank God they've done such a good job. I want them punished and God will make sure they're punished. I'm thankful they found him and now [Ronnie] will be at peace," Frankie Gammage, Ronnie's mother, said.
