Bundle up the mercury is starting to drop

Good Evening & Merry Christmas,

Lee Peck from the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we are working on for 7 News Nightcast.

Brace yourself… now that the severe weather has moved on the mercury is starting to drop across Southwest Louisiana. Meteorologist Cedric Haynes will tell us how cold we can expect it to get.

And while we were spared the worst of the storms that moved across the region… Mobile, Alabama got hit hard with a tornado that touched down. We'll also show you snow in Dallas.

Also the giving spirit continued this Christmas. Earlier we showed you how Abraham's Tent fed the needy this holiday. Tonight, KPLC's Olivia Vidal shows us how a local church stepped in to feed the hungry this holiday.

We'll see you tonight at ten for these stories and more. And remember we're always online at kplctv.com.
