Good Evening,

State Police continue their investigation into the overnight crash that claimed the life of longtime KFDM anchor/reporter Bill Leger. Troopers said Leger died in accident around 1 a.m. on Highway 93 in Lafayette Parish after his vehicle left the road and then overturned in the other lane of traffic. Leger's vehicle was then hit by another motorist who was later arrested for DWI. At this time authorities aren't sure if Leger was dead before the second accident.
