Prayer vigil in Newtown, Connecticut

Good Evening,

Lee Peck from the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we are working on for Nightcast.

A prayer vigil is taking place in Newtown, Conn., the site of Friday's elementary school massacre that left 20 children and six adults dead. President Obama is there to meet with the families of the victims and first-responders. We'll have the latest from Newtown tonight.

Plus, a day after the vandalism of four churches in Sulphur many people are still asking why? We revisit two of the hardest hit churches as members attend Sunday services.

And the New Orleans Saints get back on track with a big win over Tampa Bay. Sam Gannon has highlights and post game reaction.

Also, have you had enough rain? Meteorologist Cedric Haynes has been tracking the thunderstorms moving through our area and lets us know the outlook as we start the work week.

We hope you'll join us for Nightcast following the Sunday night football.
