Another step forward for proposed Mardi Gras Boardwalk

Happy Friday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here with a look at some of the stories we are covering this morning on Sunrise:

*As the Lake Charles City Council gets closer to sealing the deal with Mardi Gras Boardwalk, it has added the old Harrah's parking garage as a surplus property.  We have details on this addition and a proposed construction timeline.

*Traffic is a major concern for the I-210 area by Nelson Road in Lake Charles.  Residents living near that busy spot spoke out at a meeting with DOTD last night about proposed changes when Ameristar Casino is built.

*Where is the dust coming from?  That is a question the DeRidder City Council has been asked to look into after a business owner in the area has seen it become a growing problem.

*If you are looking for some holiday fun tonight, check out "Winter Fest" at the West Cal arena in Sulphur.  We will have details of what is in store, including a Santa Claus visit and a petting zoo.

*My Healthcast this morning will take you inside the Lake Charles home of Bruce and Sarah Plauche', the proud parents of quintuplets!

Make it a Sunrise day!
