SULPHUR, LA (KPLC) -

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office deputies are looking for man who fled on foot after a traffic stop in the Sulphur area.

Sheriff's Office spokesperson Kim Myers said warrants are out for the man's arrest. No other details were given.

The search began in area near Sulphur off Prater Road and U.S. 90.

It led to a neighborhood near Dutchess Street where residents reported the suspect may be hiding under a house.

Sulphur Police are also responding.
