We're looking at what LaDOTD is planning for the area of Lake Charles. The traffic plan comes as construction of the new Ameristar Casino is underway.
That meeting is set for 5 p.m. at the Springhill Suites Marriott on West Prien Lake Rd.
If you're like me, you put off shopping for the holidays. Our KPLC Community Christmas/Salvation Army Angel Tree efforts this year look like my shopping list: lots of work left to do. It's hard to admit it, but our donations are dismal. We're asking for any non-perishable food items and toys for children under 12. You can drop them off at Kroger, Wal-Mart, Market Basket, and at the KPLC studios on Division St. in Lake Charles.
