Downtown Manhattan law office suite operator helps attorneys and law firms displaced by hurricane Sandy stay in business while waiting for their offices to reopen and utilities to be restored.

(PRWEB) November 15, 2012

Two weeks after super storm Sandy blew through the New York Metro area, many Manhattan law firms are still displaced from their offices or are without critical communications services. As Verizon and Con Edison continue to struggle to restore services, many firms are learning that it may be four to eight weeks before their utilities are restored.

Solo attorneys and small law firms, who often sublet office space from bigger firms and therefore have no direct relationship with landlords or utility companies, are particularly at risk.

Many downtown law firms are seeking other options to keep their firms up and running until they can get back into their offices. Law Firm Suites, an operator of law office suites in downtown Manhattan, has been helping displaced firms get back to business.

“A number of firms have rented short-term office space to house critical back-office staff to stay in business while attorneys work from home and use our conference rooms for depositions and important meetings,” says New York attorney and Law Firm Suites’ president, Stephen Furnari. “Firms have been finding Law Firm Suites’ short term conference room rentals useful to hold previously scheduled depositions or client meetings, keeping cases on track,” says Furnari.

Law Firm Suites offers a number of creative, and cost effective ways to help firms get back to business while they wait for their permanent office space to reopen. Says Furnari, "we returned back to work quickly after Sandy and are fortunate to be in a position to support our community.”

Law Firm Suites is New York City’s leading provider of professional office space for solo attorneys and small law firms. Featured in the ABA Journal and the New York Daily News, Law Firm Suites’ lawyer-only community exchanges over $1.5 million in business referrals each year, and 95% of Law Firm Suites' clients pay their rent with the referrals they receive from other Law Firm Suites’ clients. Law Firm Suites has offices available for every budget, and offers both short and long-term contracts, and New York City’s only virtual office and conference room rental program exclusively for attorneys.
