The Louisiana State Police is currently working to locate a missing person.
The last contact with 26-year-old Jawaun Wendell Deason of Dry Creek was on the evening of Saturday, October 20, 2012. Deason is a white male who is 6 feet tall, weighs 135 pounds, and has green eyes and blonde hair. Deason also has a tattoo of a tribal cross on his upper right arm.
His last known location was the Super 8 Hotel located at 1350 East Prien Lake Road in Lake Charles. Deason was driving a white 2003 Dodge Dakota possibly bearing Louisiana license plate X277243.
Deason is known to frequent the mall and works as an electrician.
