BAKER, LA (WAFB) -
It took just a few hours for the mystery of the military photo found in a parking lot in Baker, LA to be solved; well, mostly solved.
Patty Goudeau found the photo in the parking lot of the DMV. There were no identifying marks on the obviously old photo, but the name Grady was written on the back. Goudeau has family members in the military, and says she felt it was her
duty to make sure his photo was returned to him or his family.
The man's family contacted WAFB after he saw the story during the 6 o'clock news. They say the man's name is Grady J. Robinson, and he was from Central, LA. Mr. Robinson was in the Navy and fought in World War II. He died in August of 1993 at the age of 67.
Mr. Robinson's family is grateful Goudeau saved the photo, but they have no idea how it ended up in the parking lot of the Baker DMV.
