WELSH, LA (KPLC) -
Two Welsh men are now in jail following a recent drive-by shooting.
Welsh Police Chief Tommy Chaisson said around 9 p.m. on Oct. 7, 21-year-old Samuel Anthony Guillory and 21-year-old William "Trey" Joseph III, fired guns into a home on Welsh Street after a verbal altercation with a man near the residence.
Chaisson said the men were blocking the roadway as the victim was trying to get down the street.
The three reportedly exchanged words before the victim eventually went home. Guillory and Joseph then drove by the victim's home and opened fire, while his wife and daughter were inside, according to Chaisson.
No one was reported as injured.
Both men are now being charged with two counts of attempted second-degree murder and one count of illegal use of a dangerous weapon.
