GLADEWATER, TX (KLTV) -

The Brown family of Gladewater is waiting for approval to move Heather Brown into a care facility.

Baby John got to meet his Mom for the first time last week.

His dad, Sean, brought him to the hospital and was able to lay John on the bed with Heather.

Heather Brown went into the emergency room September 14 after having a brain aneurysm when she was 34-weeks pregnant.

Doctors delivered baby John by an emergency c-section, and Heather has been in a coma ever since.

Sean, Heather's husband, was flown home from Afghanistan after hearing the news about his pregnant wife.

Doctors say baby John is doing better than average.
