LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

Shoppers will now find cheaper prices at Goodwill stores in the Southwest Louisiana.

Jade Rayburn, marketing assistant for Goodwill Industries of Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana, said the stores in SWLA are slicing prices to accommodate shoppers.

With the constant rises in gas and groceries and other necessities, Rayburn said these price cuts will help individuals and families out.

Rayburn said the price of every item in the store will be $1 cheaper.

"We decided to do this with the constant rising prices of groceries and gas we thought it'd be a really good way to give back to the community. They've given so much to us and to our mission and we just really wanted to help out the local communities," Rayburn said.
