A mother and daughter accused of robbing banks in Kinder and Sulphur plan to accept a plea agreement in the armed robbery of a Mississippi bank, according to the Associated Press.
The wire service reports that 57-year-old Evie Mearlene Herrin and 30-year-old Amelia Darci Crew have been in jail since March in Mississippi when they were arrested after the holdup of a Regions Bank in Gulfport.
Authorities said the women used a BB gun and wore disguises. More than $12,000 was taken from the Gulfport bank, according to the Associated Press.
The bank robberies in Kinder and Sulphur were investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigations and the Louisiana State Police.
Authorities said the suspects were armed and in disguises in those robberies.
Around $6,000 was reportedly taken from the Iberia Bank in Kinder on Feb. 13, and $4,750 was taken from the MidSouth Bank in Sulphur on March 15.
