DERIDDER, LA (KPLC) -
The Westlake woman accused of sex crimes in Beauregard and Calcasieu parishes pleaded guilty Thursday in 36th Judicial District Court to felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
Heather Daughdrill, 29, was also charged with three counts of simple kidnapping. Beauregard court officials said those charges were dismissed.
Daughdrill was also sentenced Thursday to five years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections. Four years were suspended. She will also be subject to five years of supervised probation, according to court records.
Daughdrill was arrested on sex-related charges in 2011. She is accused of having inappropriate sexual contact with a 13-year-old boy who she reportedly met at a summer Bible school camp. She is alleged to have had multiple encounters with the boy, sometimes picking him up after school without his parents' permission, according to authorities.
Daughdrill is represented by Lake Charles attorney Fred Lebleu.
