This week's Sports Person of the Week goes to St. Louis Saints senior wide receiver Lenny Breda.
"It feels awesome," Lenny enthusiastically said. "This is my very first sportsperson of the week and I'm just very thankful that it happened."
In the Saints' win over East St. John last Friday, Breda had three receptions for 68 yards, along with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
"Each game I just go out there with one thing on my mind, play within myself and don't try to do too much, just control what you can control. Just do your assignment and everything will work out."
Being that he's a senior, Breda has hopes of taking his athletic talents to the college level:
"I plan on pursuing baseball and football in college whichever one comes first. I'll just be thankful if I even get a scholarship."
