McNeese Cowboys Confident After 2-0 Start

You couldn't have written a better script for the McNeese State Cowboys so far in 2012.

After a road win over an FBS team in the opener, the Cowboys came home and beat the absolute chicken-hawk out of the McMurry War Hawks.

McNeese scored 69 points, second-most in school history, returned two interceptions for touchdowns, and surrendered only seven points in one of the most lopsided wins in Matt Viator's tenure as head coach.

Still, Coach Viator is quick to point out that two victories to start a season might be nice, but they do not count at all toward the Southland Conference standings... or a possible run in the FBS playoffs.
