The 2012 Ryder Cup is just three weeks away and today US captain, Davis Love the 3rd, made his four captains picks to complete the American team. Those choices give team USA 10 of the top 20 players in the world golf rankings, and on paper make an excellent chance to keep the cup on American soil.
So the American squad is set:
Jim Furyk has been on every Ryder Cup team since 1997.
Steve Stricker will play in his third Ryder Cup.
Dustin Johnson his second Ryder Cup.
Brandt Snedeker plays his first Ryder Cup.
There's also a familiar name at the top of the automatic qualifier list. Tiger Woods leads an experienced American squad that also has four rookies. Along with Snedeker; Jason Dufner, Webb Simpson, and Keegan Bradley will make their debuts at Medinah.
The Ryder Cup begins on September 28th and you can watch it here on KPLC.
