Hurricane and/or Tropical Storm Isaac may not have done any damage over here in southwest Louisiana, but it has definitely wrecked the opening weekend of high school football, at least partially. These are the local games affected:
Sam Houston and St. Louis will play Saturday at 6 p.m.
Pickering and Jena will play Saturday at 6 p.m.
Oakdale and Many will also play Saturday night at 6 p.m.
Kinder and Elton has been postponed till Saturday at 7 p.m.
McMain and Westlake has been canceled and will not be re-played.
At this moment, we do not know of any other postponed games.
If, and the key word is if, most of the local games stay on the schedule for Friday, then Touchdown Live will premiere Friday night after Nightcast.
