JENNINGS, LA (KPLC) - Jennings Police need your help in finding two suspects in an armed robbery of a local bank.

The two individuals entered into the West Division Branch of Jeff Davis Bank on Thursday, armed with handguns and demanding money from the tellers, according to authorities.

Police say the suspects were able to leave with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on bicycles.

At this time, investigators have recovered the suspects' bicycles about one block from the bank location.

Authorities are also working to determine what appears to be evidence of a get-a-way vehicle at this same location, which is an abandoned home. It appears, at this time, that the suspects parked the suspected get-a-way vehicle under a carport of an abandoned home.

Investigators are processing the scene and will be collaborating on the case with the FBI. They will also be sending the physical evidence for analysis in a crime lab.

Anyone with information in this case is asked to call Jennings Police tips line at 337-275-9002.
