New Orleans, LA -
The New Orleans Saints played it safe Monday night by flying out to Cincinnati when Hurricane Isaac was quickly approaching the Gulf. The Bengals gave the black and gold permission to practice on the grass field across from Paul Brown Stadium today after Cincinnati was through. The Saints will head out to Tennessee tomorrow and get ready for their final preseason game against the Titans.
Another hurdle to face, but interim head coach Joe Vitt says this whole scenario is familiar territory:
"This is something we've done before, I believe it was '07 where we practiced against the Bengals. We're in the same hotel, we're really kinda following the same schedule. We have a great relationship with the Cincinnati Bengals and the Brown family, so this was a pretty good fit. It's just a short jump from here to Tennessee, and listen when we get to Tennessee we'll just see what holds for us there."
