LC man sentenced in child pornography case

A 25-year sentence handed down against a Lake Charles man convicted of making child pornography. Prosecutors say 31-year-old William Landry took sexually explicit pictures of a 2-year-old girl. Landry pleaded guilty in February 2012 to production of child pornography.

In a Lake Charles courtroom on Friday, U.S. District Judge Patricia Minaldi sentenced Landry to a 25-year federal prison term. In addition, Landry faces a lifetime of supervision upon his release.
