Moving on to college hoops, looks like Calvin Godfrey to LSU is no-go. The former Iowa State forward's plans to join the Tigers have fallen through after he failed to meet academic requirements.
The 6'8", 230 point forward spent his freshman season at Iowa State, where he was later dismissed after an arrest for marijuana possession.
He then played at Howard College in Texas last season, averaging 13 points and 7 boards.
Godfrey was one of new LSU head coach Johnny Jones's first recruits, but LSU officials released a statement earlier today, saying he is not eligible to enroll this semester and has been released from his letter of intent.
