Phoenix, AZ - The Diamondbacks defeated the Astros 8-1 Sunday, giving Houston its fourth straight loss.
It was a scoreless game until former LSU star Aaron Hill stepped up to the plate. Hill had his way with a solo shot to left, putting Arizona ahead 1-0.
In the bottom of the fourth, the Diamondbacks were up 5-0. Astros' Tyler Greene lined one to right off Arizona's Ian Kennedy, but right fielder Gerardo Parra was there to make the catch.
Now in the top of the eighth inning, the Astros trailed 7-1. Arizona's Hill again rocketed a hit deep to left for his second home run of the day.
On Tuesday Houston next faces a three-game matchup with the St. Louis Cardinals at the Cardinals' Busch Stadium. That game starts at 7:15 p.m.
