While the saying goes: "one man does not make an entire team," it appears the loss of Tyrann Mathieu has swayed the AP voters.  Not surprisingly the Tigers are not number one in the AP preseason poll.

The USC Trojans who have been Bowl-banned for the last two years are number one in the AP Top 25 for the first time in five seasons.

Alabama comes in at number two and LSU is currently sitting in the number three spot.

However the polls rank, many would argue that the Tigers, even with the loss of the honey badger, are just as talented with even more depth.
