2 more nabbed in purse-snatching in casino parking lot

The following is a news release from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office:

On July 27, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched to a local casino regarding a purse snatching.

Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim who advised her purse, which contained a gold chain, credit cards, and the keys to her car, was stolen as she walked to her car in the casino parking lot.

After further investigation, detectives arrested Quintessa D. Vital, 20, and Donavon D. Holloway, both of Lake Charles, in connection with the purse snatching. Both were booked into the Calcasieu Correction Center and charged with purse snatching.

CPSO detectives previously arrested Joseph L. Kirklin, 17, of Lake Charles, who was already incarcerated at the Calcasieu Correctional Center on unrelated charges, also in connection with the purse snatching.  

Judge Clayton Davis set their bonds at $50,000 each.

CPSO Detective Randy Curtis is the lead investigator on this case.

    The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in the burglary of a Lake Charles home. The suspect is also charged in a purse snatching incident, according to authorities.
