CALCASIEU PARISH, LA (KPLC) -
Louisiana State Police Troop D are working a traffic accident on U.S. 171 northbound at Gillis Cutoff. The accident reportedly involves an 18-wheeler and multiple vehicles.
Authorities say there are moderate injuries.
State Police are asking that motorists avoid the crash area for the next two hours.
