WEB EXTRA: Steer causes commotion at Lake Charles Country Club

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

A steer caused somewhat of a commotion at the Lake Charles Country Club on Monday afternoon.

The steer reportedly got loose from a neighboring farmer's field, traveled the course and even tromped through residents' yards.

Bystanders were finally able to wrangle the animal and kept it tied to a tree until its owner could fetch it.
