Iowa man facing drug, theft charges

IOWA, LA (KPLC) - An Iowa man has been arrested for creation of clandestine lab and possession of a stolen truck.

According to a news release from Jefferson Davis Sheriff's Office Commander Christopher Ivey, 43-year-old Donald Leblanc has been charged with possession of stolen goods and creation of a clandestine lab to produce controlled dangerous substances.

Ivey said that Leblanc was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and components used to create and manufacture controlled dangerous substances.

A dismantled truck reported stolen to Lafayette authorities was also discovered on the property, Ivey said.
