50 years of service celebration at the Children's Clinic of SWLA

This is a press release from The Children's Clinic of Southwest Louisiana:

The physicians and staff of the Children's Clinic of SWLA are launching a weeklong celebration of 50 years of service to Southwest Louisiana on July 23, 2012.

The pediatric practice was opened in July 1962 by two young doctors and has grown into a clinic with 15 pediatricians and 5 locations serving tens of thousands of children.

At our main clinic at 2903 1st Avenue in Lake Charles, Mayor Randy Roach will be present on July 23 at 9:00 to help launch the celebration.

Clifford, the Big Red Dog, will make appearances delighting the children.

Nurse Practitioners  and Tommie Townsley, a local writer of Louisiana themed children's books will take part in promoting the importance of reading.
