CPSO arrests man for computer-aided solicitation of a minor

This is a press release from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office:

On July 17, detectives with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office Vice Division, along with the assistance of CPSO Warrants Division and Cameron Parish Sheriff's Office deputies, located and arrested Cody M. Peloquin, 22, after a two week investigation revealed he had sexually explicit conversations via cell phone and the internet with a 15 year old girl.  The investigation also revealed Peloquin sent several text messages to the girl containing inappropriate photographs of him.

During further investigation by detectives, Peloquin also confirmed to having sexual intercourse with the 15 year old girl.

Peloquin, who also had four outstanding warrants from Iowa Police Department, was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with computer aided solicitation of a minor; indecent behavior with a juvenile; and carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

Judge Michael Canaday set his bond at $1,000,000.
