Sulphur father, son face criminal charges after Colo. crash that kills 2

A father and son from Sulphur are facing criminal charges after a fatal Saturday morning accident in Colorado.

The Denver Post reported that 37-year-old Michel Martin and Tristan Martin, 16, were traveling to the National High School Finals in Wyoming. The trailer they were hauling drifted off the road and killed two women changing a tire.

Tristan Martin, the driver, is charged with two felony counts of failing to remain at the scene and two misdemeanor counts of careless driving causing death.

Michel Martin has been charged with a misdemeanor count of false reporting, because he claimed he was driving the tractor-trailer.

Both men are out on bail.
