Send-off for Miss Louisiana Teen

Lake Charles, LA (KPLC) - Family, friends and fellow Miss Teen royalty from throughout the state gathered to wish Miss Louisiana Teen 2012 and Lake Charles resident, Marlee Henry, luck as she heads to Nassau, Bahamas next week to compete in the Miss Teen USA pageant.

"Y'all's support truly means the world to me" said a teary eyed Henry at the Lake Charles Country Club on Sunday.

Henry was surprised by an appearance from one of her best friends Arquillia Vang, crowned Mrs. United States 2012 on Thursday, who gave her words of encouragement.

See more of Marlee's farewell reception on Nightcast.
