The Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder just got bigger adding a brand new hotel to its casino grounds.
The grand opening and ribbon cutting for Seven Clans Hotel was held Wednesday morning.
Along with offering new places to stay, general manager of the Coushatta Casino Resort said the new hotel will bring in jobs and adding money to Kinder's economy.
"Well I think economy wise is that the economic impact the Coushatta Casino has been on Allen Parish and the six surrounding parishes since 1995 has been unbelievable," general manager of Coushatta Casino Resort Conrad Granito said. "This will only add to that economic impact. Just alone, we've added 256 associates just for the hotel itself."
The new resort features 401 rooms, 18 suites and will soon be connected to a lazy river and pool area.
