Another round of rain dumps on SWLA - KPLC 7 News, Lake Charles, Louisiana

Another round of rain dumps on SWLA

Wednesday morning brought another round of rain for much of the region, as scattered tropical downpours move over Southwest Louisiana.  Rain is expected to come to an end Wednesday evening before a repeat performance Thursday.

KPLC 7Stormteam Meteorologist Ben Terry said some breaks in the rain are expected later this week and into the weekend.  By Saturday and Sunday, more of a typical summertime pattern of afternoon showers and storms will return with highs slowly warming back into the 90s.
