All-Stars Named In Wounded Warriors Softball Tourney

SULPHUR, LA (KPLC)- The All-Star roster for the "Battle on the Bayou"softball tournament, a match-up between the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball team and Olympic Gold medalist Jennie Finch and her team of all-stars.

Here is the complete list of All-Stars:

Jennie Finch Daigle – Softball Player – Former Pitcher & 1st Baseman - two-time Olympic medalist -  Team USA, NPF Chicago Bandits, University of Arizona

Casey Daigle –Major League Baseball Player – Former Pitcher – Arizona Diamondbacks, Houston Astros

Crystl Bustos – Softball Player – Former 3rd Baseman - three-time Olympic Gold medalist – Team USA, NPF Akron Racers

Mackenzie Vandergeest – Softball Player – Former Catcher – Team USA, NPF Chicago Bandits, Rockford Thunder, Akron Racers, University of Arizona

Toni Mascarenas – Softball Player – Former Infielder – Team USA, NPF Arizona Heat, University of Arizona

Pat Rapp – Major League Baseball Player - Former Pitcher – San Francisco Giants, Florida Marlins, Kansas City Royals, Boston Red Sox, Baltimore Orioles, Anaheim Angels

The tournament will be held July 13-14 at McMurry Park in Sulphur, with game events beginning each night at 5 p.m.  Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased online at www.jenniefinchstore.com, all Calcasieu Parish McDonald's locations, both locations of Dynamic Dimensions Fitness Centers, and Sulphur City Hall.  The Jennie Finch Softball Camp will also be held in conjunction with the tournament and more information can be found at www.jenniefinch.com.
