The following is
a Press Release from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office:
On May 8, the
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office received a complaint regarding Darren J.
Racca, 41, of DeRidder, having inappropriate sexual contact with a female
family member. The victim stated she was made to perform sexual acts on
Racca on numerous occasions between 2004 and 2005 in Calcasieu Parish when the
girl was 7-years-old.
On June 19, with the assistance of Beauregard Parish Sheriff's
Office SWAT team and patrol division, CPSO detectives located and arrested
Racca without incident at the home of an acquaintance in Longville, Louisiana.
Racca was transported and booked into Calcasieu Correctional
Center and charged with 3 counts of aggravated sexual assault; and 3 counts of
cruelty to a juvenile.
Judge Wilford
Carter set his bond at $25,000.
