Louisiana State Police report two injuries following a single-vehicle crash on LA 1 in Cloutierville in Natchitoches Parish.
In a new release Sunday, police say the preliminary investigation shows that around 1 a.m. Sunday, a 2001 Ford Explorer was traveling northbound when it went off the road at a curve. The driver lost control of the SUV and it rolled several times.
Police say 56-year-old Donald Robinson of Natchez, LA was not wearing a seat belt. He was taken to LSU-Shreveport hospital with critical injuries.
A passenger, identified as 50-year-old Katherine Moses, also of Natchez suffered moderate injuries. Police say she was wearing a seat belt.
State Police also report that alcohol was suspected to be a factor in the crash to be confirmed later by a toxicology test.
