    Over the last couple of weeks someone has been circulating so-called BP oil claim forms in the Lake Charles area. While man, if not most medical claims associated with the Deepwater Horizon oil spill have been settled, someone is holding meetings around the Lake area trying to get people to sign up. But they're not too forthcoming when it comes to saying who they are or who they represent. Zack Fradella joined KPLC-TV in December 2013 as the Weekend Meteorologist and Digital Content Producer.  Zack has watched and forecasted weather since he was a teen in his hometown of Harvey, Louisiana, which is just outside of New Orleans.

Anything from random snow events to the long, dreadful time of year known as Hurricane Season, Zack has experienced it all. As a high school student, Zack watched two devastating landfalls from hurricanes Katrina and Rita along the Louisiana coastline.

Zack graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences with an emphasis in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. 

Even though the weather nerd comes naturally to him, Zack does have a second passion for all sports. He is a fan of the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans. Outside of tracking that next front or watching a Pelicans game, Zack loves to spend time with his family, enjoy the outdoors, and volunteer his time at his local church.
