A North Carolina man nearly lost his arm while trying to capture an alligator with his bare hands. We'll hear about the man's scary interaction tonight.

And the suspect accused of robbing the Southwest Louisiana Credit Union in Sulphur is still on the run.

Also, the budget fight shifted to the state senate today as health and higher education officials' layout doomsday scenarios if a quarter billion dollars in cuts stay in the spending play.

Tonight we will have lows in the mid 60s under a clear sky. High pressure will setup over our area through the weekend and that will make it very difficult to get any rain plus the sinking air will warm our temperatures. Highs through the weekend will approach the 90 degree mark; and it will feel hotter than that with the humidity factored in.

Joe has game highlights from today's LSU game as the Tiger's moved into a tie for first place in the SEC.
