Power outage planned for Welsh on April 23

A power outage is planned for the town of Welsh on Monday, April 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The power outage is for a necessary electrical upgrade which will give residents a more dependable electrical service, according to Welsh Superintendent Rick Matte.

Matte said businesses should be aware of the outage, but it will affect every business on Main Street and some residents on the feeder streets of Main.

The power outage will not affect the schools.
