Moss Bluff man accused of sex charges involving juveniles

The following is a Press Release from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office:

On April 9, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office received a complaint regarding Daniel A. Cain, 28, of Moss Bluff, having inappropriate sexual contact with a female on two occasions, beginning in 2009 when the girl was 8-years-old.

The investigation also revealed in July 2011, Cain engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with an 11-year-old girl.

When questioned by detectives, Cain confirmed the allegations.  He was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center for sex charges involving juveniles.

Judge Ron Ware set his bond at $36,000.

CPSO Detective William Wilcox and Lt. Elizabeth Zaunbrecher are the lead investigators on these cases.
