Work on I-210 shuts down part of the interstate

The following is a press release from DOTD:

I-210 WESTBOUND RIGHT LANE CLOSURE

The Westbound Right Lane of I-210 will be closed at its east Junction with I-10 (Mile Post 12.750) to the U.S. 90 Exit 12 (Mile Post 11.800) on Tuesday April  10, 2012, from 8:30 A.M. until 1:30 P.M.

Closure is necessary for maintenance repairs.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.

    A long-time recycling company in Sulphur has reopened its doors after being out of business for nearly 2 years.  The Aluminum Recycling Center located in Sulphur has played a vital role in the community for more than 35 years. President and owner, Walter Moseley along with his son and co-owner Clint Moseley decided to close up shop after he fell ill back in 2016.
