$1M bond for man held in LC killing

A Lake Charles suspect wanted for first degree murder turned himself in to police.

Cornell Henry III, 46, and Tijuana Mitchell, 40, who was arrested on March 29 are charged with first degree murder.

According to police they learned that the Brandon Antoine, 31, was shot during an altercation on the 2800 block of 8th Street on March 29. Antoine was transported to a local hospital by private means for treatment.

Police said investigations later revealed that Mitchell and Henry were involved in the shooting.

Henry's bond is set at $1 million.
